How We Do It
Creative Development & Pre-Production
Our process begins with listening. We dive into understanding your perspective, your brand, your mission, and your goals. This allows us to craft messaging that resonates with your target audience while aligning with your vision.
In this phase, we work with you to:
- Clarify the project’s purpose, message, and audience.
- Determine the approach, schedule, and deliverables.
- Develop the video concept, select shoot locations, and prepare interviewees.
- Plan the style of graphics and other creative elements.
We keep you informed and involved every step of the way to ensure the project meets your expectations.
Production
When it’s time to bring your vision to life, we schedule a shoot at your office, facility, or a location of your choosing. Most shoots take just a few hours and can easily fit into or around your workday.
During the production phase, we focus on three key elements:
- Interviews
Featuring staff, customers, or program participants is the most effective way to tell your story. These conversational interviews add authenticity and a personal touch, capturing the essence of your organization. - Predetermined Shots
We create a detailed shot list during pre-production to ensure every important element is captured. - Additional Footage
We remain flexible during the shoot, capturing spontaneous moments or ideas that arise. This ensures we have more than enough content to create a polished final product.
Post-Production
Once filming is complete, the real magic happens. Our editor meticulously refines and shapes the footage to bring your vision to life.
We follow a 3-step post-production process to ensure client participation and satisfaction:
- Narrative Cut: A rough edit with interview footage arranged into a cohesive storyline is sent for review.
- Second Cut: This version incorporates b-roll footage, music, and graphics, along with revisions requested after the first cut. Additional feedback is welcomed during this phase.
- Final Cut: The finished video includes color correction, audio enhancement, and all final edits. Once approved, you’ll receive the final files ready to share with the world.
Please note: Any changes requested after the final cut, outside of factual corrections or editor errors, may incur additional costs.
